In the second part of the seminar on the academic seat, we will focus on the so-called static seat – the use of our center of gravity. The center of gravity of rider and horse should be the same – but how do we get there? And how does it feel?

In this seminar we will discuss
– Finding the common center of gravity
– First exercises to consciously use your own center of gravity and to sensitize the horse to it
– Shifting the center of gravity (half-halts)
– How can you tell that the horse is not following the shift in center of gravity?
– Connection between forward and center of gravity
– Beginning of the school halt
