Academic art of Riding came into my life when I had difficulties with my first horse that seemed insurmountable. Nothing went according to plan. My mare was constantly injured and became seriously ill again and again. I set out in search of new ways and years later I held a book in my hands for the first time, which was to pave my further way: It questioned everything and thus all my being with my horse upside down. Thanks to Bent Branderup, I was able to enjoy an academic education whose path I still follow today. I moved to the horse country of Portugal and with all the impressions I had absorbed until then, my husband and I created “Casa da Baia da Nau” – a place in the southwest Alentejo, 500 meters from the cliffs and the hiking trail “Rota Vicentina”. Here, in this quiet place, located in the middle of a nature reserve, horses and people can be together, can experience and try each other. For more than 20 years I have been engaged in academic horsemanship and have been a licensed Bent Branderup ® trainer for 9 years.
